For the past couple of years we have written love letters to each other as part of our Christmas Countdown. I usually lay out some blank card sized pieces of paper, pens,and pencils. We all gather round and write what is in our heart and draw a picture. Each person makes a card for each member of the family and we place it in each persons stocking and read them on Christmas…no peeking! If you have little ones let them scribble on the paper or use an ink pad to make their handprint and you can sign the “To and From”. You can see Kate gave Marco a pencil and piece of gum one year. 
I have always put these into individual scrapbooks but this year I came across a Love Letter Box over at eighteen25! First off I am so excited to see other people doing this as well, and secondly they are giving away the CUTEST templates! I am all over it baby!!
I think this is a great way to take the time to document what you have been meaning to say all year!
